Grégory Morin · France, 2025 · 70 min
An adrenaline-fuelled journey through a city's most remote and darkest corners. A breath of fresh air in the world of genre cinema and last year's festival favourite. Luc is in deep trouble. Yes, this former junkie, worthless husband and terrible father should not have provoked those dealers in the toilet of a seedy underground nightclub. But Luc is literally in deep shit after the aforementioned dealers leave him for dead, his head expertly stuffed into a squat toilet. In this endless night of absurd twists and impossible situations, finding a means of escape will be no easy feat.
"Set almost entirely within a single toilet stall, this is low budget filmmaking par excellence. Grégory Morin's mélange of toilet humour and despair is a film designed to be watched in company, the more raucous the better." (Jennie Kermode, Eye for Film)
