for children aged 7+ dubbed into Slovenian
Sometimes the greatest detectives see the world differently. Ten-year-old Alisa and her younger brother Milan find themselves at the centre of a mysterious case when their parents suddenly disappear. The two children team up with a group of young detectives, drawing on their individual strengths to find them. At first, Milan's unique experience of the world seems to pose a challenge, but as the investigation unfolds, his special way of thinking proves crucial to solving the mystery. An exciting adventure lies ahead, filled with puzzles and unexpected discoveries.
"It was important to us to emphasise that Milan is not a typical example of autism, because there is no such thing as a typical case. People often say that every autistic person is like a snowflake: they are all snow, but no two are alike. That is why we wanted to tell the story of one particular child and one family, rather than try to explain the entire spectrum through a single character. /.../ Alisa is at the centre of the story as a child who often becomes 'invisible', because caring for her brother on a daily basis takes up all of the family's capacities. Through her, we also see anger, guilt and love - all the things children can genuinely feel, but which are rarely talked about." (Marina Andree Škop)
