A group of students on a school trip, shortly after a classmate's suicide. A deeply moving and tragic story about the devastating consequences of peer violence and the ineffectiveness of the school system and society as a whole. A group of Serbian secondary school students and their teachers set off on a school trip to Bulgaria. When their bus breaks down, leaving them stranded in an old hotel in the middle of the mountains, the quiet Zoza decides to speak out about the recent suicide of his best friend. But instead of prompting constructive reflection or even compassion, his words trigger the opposite reaction among his peers. In the fragile world of teenagers, where innocence mingles with cruelty, Zoza is subjected to the same bullying and harassment as his late friend - without receiving any help from the accompanying teachers.
"We are surrounded by violence. You turn on the news, open your phone - and it is there. This is the language of today, and children learn it very quickly. They begin to speak it fluently before they fully understand its consequences. / ... / What matters is whether a community recognizes violence when it begins and sets a boundary around it. When it looks away, violence does not remain neutral; it gains space, legitimacy and power." (Miroslav Terzić)
